CMP FAT

...seen at Beltring in 2005

A preserved example of the CMP Field Artillery Tractor (FAT), with the CMP (Canadian Military Pattern) No 13 style cab. They were built by both Ford and Chevrolet. A 4x4 chassis and built in slightly different versions, with 2 or 4 doors. The open centre section of the roof was covered with canvas and space for a spare wheel on the rear part of the roof.
This one was pictured at the War & Peace show at Beltring, Kent back in 2005.
