CALLING ALL MODEL MAKERS!
The South West’s biggest scale model show is back at The Tank Museum, for the first time since February 2020.
Live workshops and demonstrations, as well as stalls selling the latest modelling kits and accessories, will be set against a backdrop of real tanks and armoured vehicles at the South West Model Show, 4-5 September.
Visitors can look forward to a display of models from across the spectrum, including trains, planes, boats, science-fiction icons and of course tanks!
There is a jam-packed programme of workshops for model enthusiasts, including airbrushing techniques and tips on how to build a model tank, with a chance to ask the experts any questions about scale modelling. https://tankmuseum.org/events/south-west-model-show/programme
PLUS, don’t miss the Q&A with the Daleks – where you can quiz them on everything from Dr. Who to their favourite tank.
Rosanna Dean, Events Manager, “We’re so pleased to be welcoming people back to the South West Model Show.
“There has always been a strong affinity between model makers and military vehicle enthusiasts, and the South West Model show combines these two passions in the perfect setting.”
Visitors to the South West Model Show will also have the chance to experience some of Dorset’s finest local produce at the Dorset Food & Drink Pop Up Market, hosted at the Museum on the Saturday and Sunday of the Model Show, 4-5 September.
