Military Model Scene

Latest news from Gecko Models is that they are soon to release a 1/35 scale model of the iconic Austin K2/Y heavy ambulance with markings from the early to mid war period. These will include markings for the BEF, Western Desert and Italian campaigns. The model includes all the parts needed to reflect the variations during the production of the vehicle.

Only the CGI images so far, along with the box art, but I for one am really looking forward to this, as I suspect are any fans of 'Ice Cold in Alex'. Perhaps a good excuse to have a cold beer beside you to enjoy while you are building the kit.

Not available just yet, and won't be in the shops here in the UK until the New Year I expect. When it gets here, remember Tiger Hobbies are the UK importer for the Gecko range.
