Title: Leichter Zugkraftwagen 1t
Author: Hilary Louis Doyle & Thomas L. Jentz

Panzer Tracts 22-1 is the latest one in this series to be re-published by the new owners, Panzerwrecks, covering the Sdkfz 10 half track. An 80-page soft-cover book.
Updated with more pages, photos and 14 pages of first-class 1/35 scale line drawings. The variants covered include both Ausf A and B, even from different production years. Added to these are plans for the light decontamination vehicle and the self-propelled flak versions, with the 20mm Flak 30 and that of the Flak 38. It starts with detail of the earliest development of the Demag Liliput Model 1, a small half-track to tow the 3.7cm anti-tank gun, and one I don't recall seeing before. Then the slightly longer D II 3, and further improvements leading to the D7 which we know so well. It provides a detailed description of the various elements of the Sd.Kfz 10m and that in turn leads into great detail on the production models and the different manufacturers, which in turn includes a table of production quantities by month/year and by manufacturer, to give us the total figures. Of course once it was in production that wasn't the end to modifications introduce during its' service life. The second half of the book focuses on the signals, decontamination and flak variants, all of which have great quality photos to illustrate the story as a whole.
With the new paper used on these new editions, not only does it have a good feel to it, but the quality of the photo reproduction is so much better than the originals. Add all the updates and this is another great reference for anyone interested in the German half-track series of WW2. This is the light, unarmoured 1t vehicle, and worth remembering the chassis was the as that used for the armoured Sdkfz 250 series. It's available from bookshops or direct from Panzerwrecks.
Thanks to Panzerwrecks for the review copy.
